Lahmard Tate is an American actor, director, and writer. He was born on September 30, 1970, in Chicago, Illinois, the United States. He is the younger brother of actors Larenz Tate and Larron Tate. Lahmard began his acting career in the late 1980s, appearing in TV shows such as "The Cosby Show," "Hunter," and "227." He has also appeared in several movies such as "Menace II Society," "Barbershop," and "Rocky Balboa." In addition to acting, Tate has directed and written films, including the 2004 movie "A Day in the Life" and the 2013 film "The Last Fall." Tate has also appeared in theater productions, including the off-Broadway play "My Children! My Africa!" In recent years, he has expanded his career to include producing and developing original content for television and film.
